SYSTEMS
ENGINEER
This individual is responsible for the system concepts, analysis and
layouts of our unmanned aircraft systems. The systems must be
designed to meet military and/or FAA certifications.
Our product suite consists of C3 (command, control, and communications)
components for a wide array of unmanned vehicles. At Geneva, a
systems engineer is not just a requirements manager but a creator and
innovator. Experience with and knowledge of both software and
hardware components is a must. You will be required to perform
trades as to which function will be called upon to meet a particular
requirement.
- Essential Functions:
- Bridging customer objectives to system requirements
- Ensuring that final design meets customer intent, not just defined
requirements
- Requirements analysis and capture
- Upper level system architecture creation
- Allocation of requirements to subsystems
- Follows design through integration and test
- Risk identification and analysis
- Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 yrs experience with avionics or related systems
- Knowledge of both hardware and software systems
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering field
- Experience with military qualified and FAA qualified avionics
