QUALITY, RELIABILITY TEST & INSPECTION TEAM LEADER
L-3 Unmanned Systems – Easton, MD
Assists the Quality Manager in the Quality Control function of the organization. Ensures the quality of materials purchased, processed, manufactured, and/or distributed by the organization. Responsible for continuously reviewing quality control philosophy, practice, and procedure to ensure the highest standards. Coordinates and conducts technical reliability studies. Recommends design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability. Manages the testing and controlling of raw material and finished product quality, ensures compliance with company standards and applicable government regulations. Recommends corrective action where necessary, develops plant quality control manuals, and participates in the development of new methods, procedures and systems.
Successful candidate will have a B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science or Mathematics. Use and/or application of basic principles, theories and concepts. Ability to develop solutions to routine technical problems. Ability to contribute to the completion of routine technical tasks. DOD Experience and/or Aerospace experience preferred.
